I am pleased to offer patients anti-wrinkle injections using botulinum toxins (often referred to as Botox).

WHAT CAN I TREAT WITH WRINKLE INDUCING INJECTIONS?

Botox can be used to treat forehead creases, frown lines, lines that have formed above the lip, crow’s feet at the corner of the eyes and labial lines.

HOW DOES BOTOX WORK?

The anti-wrinkle injection is inserted directly into the site of your problem area and treatment is quick and effective.

It temporarily freezes the facial nerves from responding to stimuli, so wrinkles or frown lines look as if they have been filled. The skin is less prone to creasing, so you can laugh or make other expressions without concern.

I will create a natural and subtle look, so you can feel and appear younger without others noticing you have had wrinkle correction treatment.

After just 20 to 30 minutes of treatment, you will notice a considerable difference, but the full effects are normally apparent after around ten days. To prevent discomfort I will apply a numbing agent to the skin before the injections commence.

HOW LONG DOES THIS TREATMENT LAST?

Results generally last between four and six months, but this can vary from person to person.
